My role

I am an Improvement and Engagement Manager.

My responsibilities

I work as part of the Improvement Team, delivering training and facilitating improvement projects.

My background

I am a registered general nurse and children’s nurse. After completing my Diploma in Primary Health Care Nursing, I worked as a District Nurse in Southampton where I had an opportunity to be part of a test site for the NHSIII Productive Community Services Initiative. This led to a 18 month secondment to NHSIII. On my return to Solent NHS Trust I have worked in an array of roles which have been supporting services to make Quality Improvements.

Why I love my job

I enjoy working with a variety of clinical and corporate teams, supporting them to make either small or large scale improvements.
