Parent-based models of speech and language therapy intervention
This study is interested in finding out if an adapted approach for working with parents will help them and their child when their child is experiencing difficulties communicating. This study will put participants into two equal groups. One group will receive the usual parent based treatment and the other will receive an adapted form of the usual parent based treatment. The results will be compared to see if one is better.
Who can be involved?
- A parent and their child who is aged between 2-3 years old and diagnosed with primary language delay
What happens to people taking part in this research?
Participating in this research study includes attending an assessment. As part of this assessment, an audio recording of your child's voice will take place.
