Title

Understanding Health Visitors' Infant Symptom Assessment

Summary

This study seeks to delve into health visitors' approaches to assessing infant symptoms like crying and vomiting, examining how their perceptions shape the support they provide. Additionally, it aims to gauge health visitors' sense of preparedness and support from training and other agencies in delivering this assistance. Through qualitative interviews, the study will explore health visitors' perceptions and experiences regarding unsettled baby behaviors. Maximum diversity sampling will be employed to ensure a varied participant pool based on infant age, socio-economic background, ethnicity, and diagnostic labels for infant symptoms.
