The Academy of
Research and Improvement

Our mission is to empower staff and patients with the skills and confidence to identify areas for research and improvement, along with the tools to manage projects and measure their impact effectively.

​

We offer dedicated support to those interested in Research, Improvement, Clinical Effectiveness, Innovation, Patient Involvement in Improvement, and Sharing Learning Using Evidence.

​

We design and deliver these activities while also helping teams and patients to do the same. Our support includes training programmes, hosting events, bespoke facilitation, and an annual conference.

Our mission is to equip our staff, colleagues, patients and community members with the skills and confidence to identify areas of Solent services that could be improved, and the tools they need to manage projects and measure impact.

We strive to ensure the patient voice is at the heart of everything we do, and actively encourage collaboration with patients and communities at all levels of our organisation.
