Joe Salmon

Hi, I’m Joe, a mental health nurse by trade. I have a background working in psychiatric intensive care units, forensic wards, adult acute wards and psychiatric liaison services. I have a personal interest in eating disorders and staff health and wellbeing, but also love working across a variety of different projects focusing on different elements of one’s mental health. I am an advocate for putting patients first and would love to see more patients get involved in research to help guide their recovery journey. I also love having staff and students from across different teams coming to work with me for bespoke days/placements so that they can see the joy of research.
