The power of co-production in Quality Improvement
Thank you to everyone who made this year’s QI Week a success! We’re thrilled to share a highlights booklet featuring key videos from the week’s events. Explore some of the best moments below!
QI Week 2024, 9 - 13 Sept
QI is for Everyone
QI Week 2024 was dedicated to showcasing the efforts of our colleagues who continuously strive to enhance services for patients, families, carers, and staff. Using innovative improvement tools and QI methodologies, they demonstrated their commitment to thinking creatively and implementing diverse approaches to quality improvement.
The theme for QI Week 2024, ‘QI is for Everyone,’ emphasised inclusivity and highlighted the connection to the NHS Impact Framework and its Five Components, reinforcing the idea that everyone plays a role in driving meaningful improvements.
What Was QI Week 2024 About?
Have you ever thought about getting involved in QI but weren't sure where to start, or felt uncertain about QI "processes" or tools?
You may be surprised to learn that you're likely already using QI in your everyday work without realising it. Quality Improvement doesn’t need to be led solely by managers; some of the most impactful ideas come from those who work directly with service users and our communities.
During QI Week, we invited everyone to ask questions, engage with those experienced in improvement projects, and take their first step into the world of QI.
